What a sensible discovery phase actually looks like
Discovery doesn't need to be a big consulting exercise.
Some agencies turn discovery into a lengthy (and expensive) process with workshops, post-it notes, and elaborate documents. That's not how we work.
What we actually do
A good discovery phase is short, focused, and practical. We spend time understanding how work actually flows through your firm. Not the ideal process, but the real one - with all its workarounds and pain points.
We ask questions like: Where does time get lost? What tasks feel repetitive? What would make your Monday morning easier?
The output
At the end, you get a clear picture of what's worth building. Not a wish list, but a focused recommendation with realistic scope and expected outcomes.
Sometimes the answer is "actually, you don't need custom software." That's a valid outcome too. We'd rather tell you that than sell you something you don't need.
